This audio piece (above is an excerpt of the full 17mins) from Ayesha Hameed, with music and sound design by Saunders, was first shown as a site specific installation at the 10th Göteborg International Biennial For Contemporary Art in 2019. The listening point was at Packhuskajen in Gothenburg Harbour, built in the seventeenth century as Sweden’s “window to the Atlantic” and as the national port for trade with the East and West Indies.
